Sculptra is a substance known as a poly-L-lactic acid. This is the same material commonly used in absorbable sutures. When injected throughout the face, however, Sculptra stimulates the production of new collagen in the deep dermis. Gradually, over a couple of months, this results in adding back lost volume leaving you with a completely rejuvenated, more youthful appearance. Sculptra offers dramatic results, erasing the appearance of those dreaded deep folds between the nose and mouth, called “smile lines,” as well as, lines that frame the mouth (marionette lines), making you look sad or angry, along with, chin wrinkles.
Most patients find treatment only moderately uncomfortable, but not painful.
For most patients, two or three treatment sessions deliver the best results. Follow-up treatments are typically scheduled about 4 weeks apart.
Our specialists have extensive experience and training in administering Sculptra for countless satisfied customers. All are licensed and have undergone special training in injecting Sculptra. Experience and training are essential when choosing a Sculptra provider, as proper injection technique and facial massage following the injection, are crucial to achieving smooth, even, natural-looking results.
The amazing results of Sculptra treatment gradually appear over a couple of months and usually lasts between 18 months to two years.
Absolutely. Quite often Sculptra is used to treat marionette or smile lines, along with BOTOX® to eliminate crow's feet and Juvederm® to plump up the lips. Our experts can recommend which specific fillers will achieve your desired overall aesthetic.
